BECAUSE SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO CREATE YOUR OWN SUNSHINE
Yet again, Nicole Scherzinger’s look on the X-Factor UK results show is at the top of my list. She wore a breathtaking Abed Mahfouz organza gown which featured one shoulder and wrapped her enviable shape perfectly. The material and delicate details are simply beautiful. Nicole kept her make-up simple and left her hair flowing down in loose curls giving her a look of glowing sophistication. I never say this but ‘How darling!’.
Nicole stole the show from Tulisa (the other female X-Factor UK judge) who was not able to carry off a Rock and Roll couture collared dress by Suzannah. The dress itself is gorgeous and the black lace detail gave it character but unfortunately it did not flatter her. She did not appear tall enough to carry off the length of the dress. Her hair could have been styled into thirties’ vintage or into a simple pony tail to compensate for her height in the dress. Her face perhaps finished off with red matt lipstick instead of the pick glossy colour…?
Hmm, still, I am still not sure it should have been worn in the first place.
As well as sparkly Nicole, I must also sing about my favorite fashion blog Fashion Copious which I cannot take my eyes off. It has great reads about new and existing models and designers, couture, must-see editorials, films, campaigns and looks in the fashion world.
It also has a section called ‘Good Reads’ where there are updates on the latest news and up and coming trends. It’s fantastic for those who are interested in the more artistic and creative aspects of fashion, namely high fashion. My favorite section is ‘Looks’ which reflects style and fashion in the ‘real world’. Here is a sneak peek at the current looks of the week which are brilliant. The are many looks given which can be achieved cost effectively.
Until next week xo
